What Would Peter Murphy Do?

that's a new T-shirt I decided I want to get.

Hey all, Its been a while but here I am again. Whets new? Not a whole hell of a lot. But there are a few little things.

I saw Ministry on the 3rd of June and I must say it was a bloody bloody bloody brilliant show!!
The Revolting Cocks opened up for them, and those guys were fan fucking tastic as well. Funny and entertaining. Before them, A punk band opened up for them, they weren't that great but not bad either. They did a kick ass Cover of Motorheads Ace of Spades.
The Revolting Cocks opened up with an old Favorite, 'Beers Steers and Queers' Did a few other songs along with a Bauhaus cover, and Olivia Newton John Cover(Physical ;)) and ofcourse played their famous Rod Stuart Cover'Do You Think I'm Sexy'

Entertaining as hell.

Then came Ministry, who opened up with a lot of their new stuff. Then...THEN they played their older stuff starting with N.W.O.

It was amazing. Played all the oldie goodies, Just One Fix, thieves, all that stuff. They came on for 3 encores. One was Stigmata, another was Psalm 69 and the last was a 10 minute rendition of So What.

I was very pleased with the show and RunswithScissors enjoyed it as well.

The only one they didn't play...Was Jesus Built My Hotrod, But I could live with that.

Last couple of weeks have been pretty dull and Fathers day was bloody depressing. I spent most of the day by myself so I had lots of time to think. My dad left when I was 3 and it never bothered me before, I don't know why it did yesterday, it was just one of those days I think.

Oh well, He lost out on the deal for not being here. The moral of the story is.....Appreciate what you got, cause basically, I'm fucking fantastic!

I've decided I really want to be a vocalist.

I did my first karioke a few weeks ago...Something I said I would never do but alas...I did...And a good thing too...I found out I could sing...Got standing ovations and everything. I'm not tooting my own horn either I have witnesses!!

So I've started practicing singing obnoxiously in my room....And I'm getting better. I want to reach the singing peak of people like Peter Murphy and the lead singer of Carfax Abbey. I tried a Carfax song and almost did it but some of the stronger octaves I cracked big time...But the more I practice I'll get it.

Peter Murphy is a bit harder depending on the song but, if I sing Bauhaus I seem to do just fine. Go figure. It didn't help the depression though that all the songs I happen to que were depressing aswell...But it was a bloody great release.....

I love performing ever since I was a lad...So I think I'll do it...

I'm not a Fantastic Motherfucker yet, but I play a Vampire that is...It's a start.
